I recently installed a new motor with a msd distributor, msd 6a box, and i called msd to figure out how to hook my tach, and i have gotten like three different answers. I even bought the tach adapter #8920, still no luck. The tach worked before this now it barley moves. anybody know how to hook this up all my wiring is brand new. i haven't hacked anything up, and i don't want to. My tach is the later style doesn't require the SUN transmiter. please let me know thank you

I don't know the answer to your ques., but it sounds like a lot of guys are having issues getting new tach's to work with old motors, and visa, versa. MSD is a big outfit, its a darn shame if they don't have tech's to figure this one out for ya. Maybe someone here has tried the same configuration? good luck
