Then I find the seals (gaskets) from the truck shop in California. Reckon I should pull the fender and put the gaskets in? Seems like with no gasket the rain wouldn't be as likely to stand in there if it were able to just flow through. What say y'all?

I believe the gaskets would help keep the fenders from rubbing and rattling. Well that's why i bought them (other than to find out how much it would cost to get parts to Australia).
If they came out with them, they should be fitted. Just my five cents worth.
