my drag link on my 56 was worn out, didn't want to spend $175-$190 CDN for one .especially where i am going mustangII over the winter.after seeing aftermarket drag links with power steering upgrades i said to my self: there must be a tie rod end thats off the shelf.a trip to my trusty auto salvage and their scrap differential pile netted me 2 tie rod ends off of a 4wd 85 chev 10 bolt front diff that were tight and had no play.cut enough of the tie rod tube to rethread and low and behold a perfect draglink that cost me next to nothing and i have close to 1000 miles on it. no sure if people are/were aware of this or not. thought i would pass it along just in case. not sure how much 85/87 chev tierods are worth but i got lucky at the auto salvage. smile
