Hi, I wrecked my Toyota on the way to work a few months ago. Drove my 54 Chevy to work everyday, Santa Cruz to Monterey-- thats 80 mi. r/t, 400 mi a week, for 3 weeks. Its got a 235, saginaw 3 speed, and a 12 bolt rear out of a 70 Burb. 65 mph was fine, did run out of gas once (gauge does not work)
She ran fine and it was a good adventure. Congratulations and have fun!!

We drive from Germany (Bavaria) to Ancona Italy once a year without any problem but a shot 6V Coil once.

490 miles one way.

Over the alps the brave 41 Sedan sees snow and ice at 1600 ft and 35F on the Brennero Pass as well as 133F at almost seal level 3 hours later in the Pianura Padana.

Fairbanks, Alaska to Lewistown, Montana in a 67 one ton flatbed with an overhead camper chained on the back. Best roadtrip I ever took!!! Changed lots of tires on the road...thank goodness for split rims. Just put new heads on the old girl the day before I hit the road. Good shake down cruise.
