Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!
| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 769 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 769 | I am going to document more of what I am doing on my 54 chevy build. This is a slow process. The truck has been apart for four years and I still have not finished the frame. It might look like I am building a street rod from the frame mods. but the frame was tweeked real bad and I decided to fix it. I want it to be a ridged frame with no flex.
My goal is to keep it pretty much stock, done in the late 50s early 60s hot rod style.
The truck was a reliable daily drive, except for the trans not shifting into fourth gear.
So I am a long way from driving this again, but I think I can have the chassis rolling on the tires in a few months. | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Too cool! Are you keeping the Hydro?

The one installed is for mock-up; the original is still bolted to the 235. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 15 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 15 | I wish I had got that far on my project I've got it home but it's still sitting on the trailer.Would you be interested in selling the hydro that you have for mock-up I really need one for my 56 3100 but haven't had any luck finding one. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 311 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 311 | All I see is a LOT of good work, nice build up!
Always get a 2nd opinion, especially if I am the source of the 1st opinion.
