I intend to install it in either my 49' 1 ton or a 51' 3/4 ton.

You might have to drill two holes in the front plate for the mount depending on what year motor you are using | | |

#21533 03/24/2003 5:12 AM | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 | Far as I know, the only thing diff on the bellhousing was the ears that set on the frame are slanted on one, and flat on another. Just use your orig 216 b/house. You may have the two small mounts on front of your 56 engine, and not the one at bottom. You can still use one at bottom, but as said, may need to drill the holes for the bolts to mount orig type mount. The plate under timing cover is same, just no holes in later models. OR, can change whole plate between motors, much more bother, of course.
