i was just going through the specifications on my 51, 3100 1/2 ton short box truck trying to find out how much it weighs, it said, gvw 4800 lbs, is this the weight of the truck? if so that six banger doesent stand a chance :confused:

I think GVW is rating of the truck, passengers, and all the cargo it can carry...this is the recommended maximum weight for your truck FULLY LOADED, not empty.

Don't carry any fat chicks and your six banger is safe. eek
