I would like to get a straight frame with IFS. I heard that a 2wd 73-87 1/2 ton short box chevy will work. Or a s-10 2wd extended cab frame would work. Does anyone have any information on this. If so how much fabing would be needed to pull this off. What are the pros and cons.

I would think the S10 frame might be a bit narrow. You'll have to fix up cab mounts and then it's possible that the controls will have to be dealt with - are you going to use hanging pedal conversion, or stick with stock, etc. I mean enough time and money and you could put the cab on about anything (if you know what I mean). | | |
