I know this is a long shot.I am looking for a green 60 chevy stepside 6 cylinder sold out of kentucky in 1994.The vin. is cc144n111932 and last known title was 943190540035.If anyone has seen it I would love to know.Thank you.

there was a truck for sale matching that description @ the Petit Jean swap meet on Father's day. but I got no clue as to VIN,,it was a green short stepside w/white painted grille/bumpers,,brian

Ok I see what you trying, but it can be disappointing. A large number of people never tranfer the title to old trucks. I have several here that are in old owners names, some of them we got had changed owners several times and were never updated. The reason most dont do it is money. It costs between 15 and 100 dollars to tranfer one depending on what state you live and the rules in it. Some states dont even required the title on truck after a certain age, so it may just disappear from the records. My quess is its out there and the paper hasnt gone though an offical place. Also you dont even need to do the paper work if you have another truck with plates sitting around. Its pretty common here to switch the plates from truck to truck. You cant drive more than one at a time so why spend the money for several set of plates you dont use. I know its probally not legal but it done all the time. One of these trucks loooks pretty much like another one, and it would be hard to prove which one was really right and which was not.

I have the cab to a green 60 chevy. I can check the VIN next time I'm down at storage.

I check the ark. swap meet and the guy said if I had an area of the park it was in or the booth number he has all the names and were they live.Brian if you could check that would be good.

the green '60 was over in front of the musueum where cars for sale & show generally are, not in the vendor area(under the trees,mostly). It was prolly about 2-3rd row from the highway, about middle of the area. It looked to be a nice driver/easy resto project, mostly original, looked like it ran & drove. I go every year, but have no clue how the rows/spaces are set up(it is def NOT normal alpha order). brian

I looked @ the map, near as I can tell that truck was about row D or E maybe 37-45 sorry I can't tell much more,the map is pretty lame. the owner wasn't around the truck & I wasn't buying,just looking, happened to notice a nice 60. brian

The man that does my old engines ( babbit bolts and ford flatties) got a new (like 71 chev pu) and is going to sell his old 60. Pretty fair shape body and mechanicals. It's a long stepside so I kid him by telling him not to sell it so he won't be the ugliest thing in his shop. He gets me back when I'm trying to put a sheet of plywood or sheetrock in my short wide and says "who's ugly now".

I would say a long bed would nake it the uglest.
