Thanks for your response to my question about mounting the cab on my 55 chevy 2nd series pu. Just wanted to clarify a few points before i bolt the cab on.

Do the thinner bolts or the thicker bolts go to the front?

So for the front, the metal shim goes in between the frame mounting bracket and the floor of the cab, with the similar shaped rubber pad under the metal shim.

Then for the rear, the rectangular rubber pad goes in between the floor and the cab mounting bracket, with the protruding round opening up or down?

THen the spacer, is that the small piece of metal pipe? Does that go inside of the round rubber bushing?

I do have the factory assembly manual in front of me, but it is not very clear. It shows the rear mount as having the bolt coming from under that cab and the nut being inside the cab. I thought the bolt heads were all inside the cab.

The rear bolt actually threads into a nut that is welded to the cab floor, there is no separate nut. It should be the smaller of the 2. The protruding part of the rear rectangular pad goes down, then the spacer acts as an alignment fot the 2 rubber peices. I will admit, the manual can be difficult to read, especially if you are not familliar with vehicle assembly. Sheet 47.00, section A-A at the lower left side of the page gives the best picture of how the rear mount goes together.
