Hello,

I bought a 1955 checy 3100 truck. The truck is in good shape. However it is missing a few small items. I need to find a front hood emblem. I want to know if I could my hands on a picture of one? or a place that might have it for sale? Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Ed

Ed,

Take a look in the Gallery at 1955-1st series and 1955-2nd series trucks (the Gallery link is at the top of this page).

If you do not see the emblems that you are looking for, come back here and let us know if you have a 1st series or a 2nd series 1955 Chevrolet (at least one of the trucks in the 1955-1st gallery is mis-dated, so look at more than a few trucks in each year-group).

Tim

hello ed. go to the links area here and click on the links index on the left,[parts]. then go to gm specific and you'll find a long list of suppliers, some of which will have pictures of the emblems in their catalogs. i was able to find an emblem for my 55.1 at a swap meet. fortunately these are stamped from stainless steel and are easy to clean up if there is not too many dents. hope this helps. good luck.
