I have a 49 3600 with a 4 speed. I need the retainer ring deal that holds the shifter rod in the transmission. It's the piece that you have to push down and turn to get the whole handle off. Any ideas? I've tried the big name places- chevy duty, jim carter's .

Try LMC. I,m shure i,ve seen it in catalogs but i,m not at the shop now. I,m thinking they are open Sundays during the summer.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
