A guy I know gave it to his kid who promptly rolled it. Obviously the engine runs (it was apparently running pretty fast when the wheels left the ground and skidded down the road on its top). I'm thinking of replacing the 230 in my 63 with the 350 from the '79. I'm thinking power brake system, front spindles and engine. Tranny is an automatic that I'm not interested in. What else should I take? It is easy to install on that model. Get everything that goes with the engine. Brackets, pulleys, str.pump & a/c comp if equipt.

If nothing else, you can put it in the local classifieds for $99 and give somebody a great deal, while getting back some money.
Get the wheels and tires. Battery (especially if it's new)

They have ordinances against that sort of thing so I have to strip it in his field and then help him load the carcass on a trailer to haul off. | | |
