I am new to this I have a 59 chevy 31 apache stepside wrap around glass how do I go about finding what the orginal paint scheme was and colors? somewhere in the trucks history some prior owner painted it red.

I'm not sure about the '59s, but the earlier trucks had the paint code and name written on the underside of the hood. My '55 mas that type of marking for the paint code.

My 59 short step big window has it stamped towards the bottom of the blue plate riveted to the inside of the driver's door jamb. If you need the code breakdown, email me. Mine is 721 which is Pure White.
