1952 one guy said there is two screws are they the ones under the door handle then he said lower down there was a nut is that on the lower door panel im going out tonight with a light to see if i can more but so far the doors have got me i cant see anything that comes lose did find another mouse nest help me please

32fire2, I'm doing the doors on my 52 right now. There is two screws on the door handles & window cranks. One's a cap screw and there is another one under that. There is a nut on the front glass channel at the bottom, you can get to it from the access panel. There is alot of hiden screws so take your time and don't force things.

ok thanks Barney the ones on my 50 were eaisy ill just start uscrewing all i can find thanks so the cranks have to come out to get the window out or at least come loose

The handles must come off, then the cardboard panel behind it. From there, you can take all the screws off from around the metal "trim" piece and remove it. Then, take all the screws off from around the vent frame. After you remove the steel access panel from the lower portion of the door, you can use a 1/2 (I think) socket with and extension to remove the bolt holding the bottom of the vent frame (feel around for it, you'll find it). Pull the vent frame and vent window out together. Unscrew the actual window crank mechanism from the door and remove. The window will then fall to halfway down the door and hit a rubber 'undecayed' bumpstop. Lift out the glass.

while were on door panels i have a question.the cardboard panels i bought do not fit flush it seems the door latch is pushing it out the latch seems its upside down but thats the only way it works. it seems like the flat bar from the handle to the latch would go in the indention of the door but i cant figure it out pictures or directions will help

went down to the shop have a wing window in a bucket now i see the bolts are under the window trim which is still on the door so when i take the trim off i see how the window comes out so yes its as good as done now thanks for all the help
