Saturday night while under the truck I accidently brushed my hand against the exhaust pipe, and the whole exhaust pipe wobbled from the manifold all the way to the left rear taillight. :o
Any suggestions on how to tighten the exhaust pipe to the manifold without snapping off one of the bolts?

The 1962 235/261 exhaust pipe does not use a doughnut gasket (although I think one could be used).
You are right that the nuts holding the exhaust pipe to the manifold are often hard to deal with. One way or another you will have to tighen the connection (no matter what gasket you have).
