One of my doors is now apart and I’m wondering if there are supposed to be some kind of wheels or rollers on the piece that runs in the track at the bottom of the window. This slide bar in the mechanism that runs in the tract to raise and lowet the window has two round all steel lugs but no rollers.

Inside mechaanism on my 46 is the same. I just put a little grease on them and they work great.

I had one on one window. When I looked at it, it reminded me of something I'd seen somewhere before. So at the hardware store I bought a nylon roller about 1" round, with a small ball bearing centre in it, theyr'e used around the home, riding the track rail on the bottom of sliding fly screen doors and mesh sliding security doors.
It worked.

My 46 is the same as bobt, a little grease works

Thanks for the help guys. I think I'll pull the other door apart and see if the lugs or channel are badly worn. It it is I'll go with rollers if it is in good shape like the driver's side, I'll just go with grease.
