Will this fit into my 68 c-20?
What problem might I run into? additional parts needed?
Will the old tranny bolt up?
Anyone need the 292 that is coming out?

As for your engine, it's not a drop-in, but not that tough. Bell housing is the same. You will need motor mounts. Carb linkage is different, depending on the year. In 71 GMC switched to a cable instead of the rod. Switching the isn't that hard, you can either buy used or a new Lokar pedal and cable.

Is the tranny worth using?
I dont mind the stock tranny in the truck now, if i do this do I need to change the drive line and rear end also?
Pros vs cons?
