i started working on my cab today. the guy i bought it from said he had replaced one of the cab corners but his idea of replacing it was to weld a new panel directly on top of it and then slather on the filler. as i started cutting i found a little more rust than i wanted to but it shouldn't be to bad.

that's too bad. same thing with my blue 59,,but i was buying it for parts and cab,, but cab was shot and bondo city, over rust needless to say,,,now i got to cut pieces from one cab to put on the other,should be fun,,i have never replaced the complete windshield surface,might be starting that in a couple of weeks,,,

Thanks for the photos. Looks about like my '59. Mine was cut up worse though, three major patches in the dash alone. Did you look at the cowl air box? I just finished welding on mine tonight. Good Luck. smile


They named it Apache cause it has a patchy welded here and a patchy welded there.
