I need a air cleaner will any 1955 chevy 235 work and how does it attach?
Also need hubcaps will 1/2 ton fit my 3/4 ton?
How are the reproduction shop manuals?

Most any air cleaner made for the single barrel carbs will work. Measure the neck on your carb just to make sure. They are pretty easy to come by and not expensive. Mine attaches by clamping on. The clamp is part of the air cleaner. I don't know about your year truck but in the 57-59 years the 3/4 ton does not share the same hubcaps with the 1/2 ton. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | I have a 55 2nd series chevy 3600 stepside and on mine the oil bath air filter has a ring clamp type setup on the bottom that you tighten and it just clamps on the carb neck i have a set of hub caps for mine which probly aren't going to be used again because i'm not going to use the split rims again and the truck is kinda in millions of parts so anything ya need let me know (don't know how to do the shipping stuff but i'm in southern minnesota)
