hello everyone thought i would give you an update on the 66... Went up to air tires up and two out of four aired up no biggie the guy said he would use the wrecker to bring it home so thats good no charge....My other question is notice they took the alternator and cut the wires to the alternator, so do i just splice into the wires they cut and make me some new wires or do they have a harness that is just for that? ok also need the two bolts for the alternator have any clue on that? a pic of a 327 alternator and the wiring would be great....Thanks Terry

I wonder if the alternator wires were cut for a reason? Although I can't think of any. I wonder if it was grounded out or something. Do they know why the wires were cut?

Well i think the wires were cut because someone jumped the fence and stole the alternator, that's what me and the guy figured out while we were there because he said noone took it off without his permission... But i should be able to fix it and get it running though....Terry.

...It was probably the PO of my truck grin There was a heap of "extra" wiring and missing wiring on my truck. How in the heck it ran is beyond my comprehension. Just proves how hard it is to kill these trucks. They keep going...and going...and going...
