Went up to air tires up and two out of four aired up no biggie the guy said he would use the wrecker to bring it home so thats good no charge....My other question is notice they took the alternator and cut the wires to the alternator, so do i just splice into the wires they cut and make me some new wires or do they have a harness that is just for that? ok also need the two bolts for the alternator have any clue on that? a pic of a 327 alternator and the wiring would be great....Thanks Terry | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 | oh by the way the wiring that goes to the alternator has a white wire and a red wire i hope that helps....Terry | | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 990 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 990 | I wonder if the alternator wires were cut for a reason? Although I can't think of any. I wonder if it was grounded out or something. Do they know why the wires were cut? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 | Well i think the wires were cut because someone jumped the fence and stole the alternator, that's what me and the guy figured out while we were there because he said noone took it off without his permission... But i should be able to fix it and get it running though....Terry. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 | does anyone know how it wires up and if so what size are the two bolts that hold it?...thanks Terry. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 28 | does anyone have a wiring diagram of this? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 390 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 390 | i can look and get a pic tomorow if no one else has one.Ron.

How in the heck it ran is beyond my comprehension. Just proves how hard it is to kill these trucks.
