I have a GM part # 5230920 which I think is a pre-55 hydraulic lifter for a 235. Any help on application for this part # would be appreciated.

41-55 (235) 3660438 ALL
41-55 (261) 3836342 ALL Mechanical type/single groove
1950+ (235) Passenger w/P.G. 5230460 (hydraulic lifters)

56-62 ALL 6 cylinder truck engines = 5231880

I couldn't find the number of the lifters you have, but I don't have any listings for lifters in passenger engines newer than 1950.

Rusty, I just realized that all the Truck data I have after 1950 is for 1-1/2 ton and bigger trucks only. Not sure if that is what eliminates your lifters from the documentation, but thought I should tell you all the same.

I noticed you were from Tacoma - I grew up in Black Diamond just a bit north east of you. Glad to see another Northwesterner working on old trucks! cool
