i'm switching a 64 chevy pickup body to a mid 70's chevy pickup frame the newer frame has both power steering and power brakes (i have a 78 chevy suburban body on now thats coming off) so i don't need no infor about mounting the power steering pump and that stuff really but how do you hook up the 64 steering shaft to the power steering box? (haven't looked to closely yet so maybe its not that hard) also how do you mount the power boosters and master cylinder to the 64 cab? also hook up the linkage for the pedal? this new frame is a 1/2 4x4 with 350 V-8, SM465, NP205 with Dana 44 front (with lockouts) and GM Corp 12 bolt rear the mounting of the body to the frame doesn't concern me much at this moment that i'll be able to figure out pretty easy just the power brakes, power steering, and maybe the clutch linkage i'd need help with also i know this topic probly fits better in one of the other forums but the other one just don't seem to get much traffic like this one does also any other things i should be aware of?
thanks
Nate

I think I have seen a 'hanging' pedal kit that's made to retro fit onto the older trucks. CHeck with some of the parts suppliers on the links page, or get a copy of Classic Trucks. I know have seen it in the magazine.

As for the steering - that's kind of going to depend on where the cab ends up, but if the shaft is not off too much I would think a universal joint setup could work.
