Been looking at my "new" '48 dumps. (Both have "2RV-2" serial no. prefix, two speed and locking rears so I'm guessing 2 tons.) The hood on one just doesn't seem to fit right, the lower edge of the sides don't match up with the top of the fenders and the front bottom edge leaves about a 3/4" gap where it meets the top grill piece. When it goes back together is there a way to adjust either the hood or the fenders, or can the hood be tweaked by a little bending. Thanks.

The hood mounts have some slop in them, right? So you can move the hood about on its bolts if you loosen em up. The other issue if if its not closing right look at the other truck and see if the hinges are working right. If they weren't greased up then they could be bent.
