I have a 1954 3600 (December in the IRWIPI calendar) that I am trying to get on the road. It sits at my summer place in the Catskills so I only get to wrench on it on the weekends.

This is a great place to hang out and if you're anything like me, you'll find out it's hard to stay away. I sometimes make several visits a day (there must be something really WRONG with me). In any case this is a good spot to talk trucks and get you're questions answered. It even gets a little exciting at times. Feel free to jump right in. This is a pretty friendly bunch and we're glad to have you as part of out community. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 104 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 104 | Hi bolt54. I'm fairly new here as well. But, everyone has made me feel at home.
Lots of good info here. The truck I bought is my first such project, so, I need all the info I can get.
Luckily for me I have a very good friend ( mechanic ) who is also very knowledgeable about old vehicles, so that's an added plus.

I've got a '54 too (3100) but it has an earlier grille... Your truck looks great , looks like you could just rinse it off & go for a ride Good luck & 'see' you around the 'bolt. All it needed to start was a battery and a gen belt and some fresh gas. All it needed to drive was a rebuilt master and wheel cylinders and new steel lines and hoses. It still needs a seat (mice) and an exhaust and decent rubber.
