I was contacted by a young lady looking to rent a truck to help complete her wedding day.

She is in CT.

Her email said:

Can you refer us to anyone in the Connecticut area who might rent an antique truck for a wedding???

I appreciate it so much!!!! We love trucks...... it would make our day perfect!

If you are interested please respond to this or send me an email at: [email protected]

Thanks,

Bill Schickling

This request has happened here several times although the couple usually is looking for a convertible car. One of our elderly club members passed away about a year ago and his widow asked for other members who would attend his funeral if they would drive their classics in the procession.

I think that is one of the best ways to honor a person that loved old cars and trucks attend his or her funeral with a group of old rigs. A friend of a friend died last yr and thats what all of his friends did. He was into street rods. Im sure he was up there smiling. smile

Any takers? I will send her an email this weekend if I don't hear from anyone. I have been away on business, so If you sent me an email I haven't gotten to those yet.

A visit to the stovebolt comes before checking email smile
