I'm looking for pics of original trucks that could show me what it did look like when new. It has the orig. running boards on it. What bed would have been on it? Also, what bumper would of been on this truck? It currently has a 91 Fleetside bed. I need to post pics of it still, sometime soon.

It gives me an idea what it may of had. The guy that built my truck picked it up from a farmer out in an orchard. He said it had 7 layers of paint on it. First the original paint was green and the last being white latex house paint. This truck is a deluxe cab. I checked the vin and by my understanding it was built in Oakland,Ca. Also,I understand that Chevrolet made about 5,000 of the 3800 series overall.

Very different to see that in there. Or is just the steering wheel? | | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 58 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 58 | The builder changed the dash over to Camaro gauges and the steering column and wheel is from a '78 Monte Carlo.
I'm going to put in individual gauges when I have the money. Right now trying to finish getting the new fuel tanks in, so I can get the old ones out and finish the bed floor. Looking at using Yellowheart and Purpleheart boards in a T&G configuration. I would like to show it this year at the West Coast Nationals in Aug. at Pleasanton, Ca. I'm only a 1/2 hour away.
