So I have this Fenton intake manifold, and I was wondering if anybody has any info on it. I've never seen another one like it. Seen several offy manifolds, but never one by Fenton. Is this thing really valuable or rare? Thanks for any comments.

BTW: it lines up real nice with those Fenton exhaust manifolds. No grinding needed. grin

Looks like a 235-261 dual Fenton intake to me. Anybody else?

So is this thing pretty rare, or valueable? More desireable than an Offy manifold?

I wouldn't say they are rare, but I see more of the 216 Fenton intakes than the 235-261. They are definitely more rare than Offenhauser because they are not made anymore and Offenhausers still are. More desirable than an Offy (?) - I don't know. They both work the same - more desirable just because of the fact that they aren't made anymore and because they say "Fenton" on them. They do look real nice with a set of Fenton headers and, you said it, they do line up nice with the Fenton headers. That's a nice looking set up!

Yes, they are getting pretty rare. value is determined by how bad the person who wants it is willing to pay grin

Yeah, i kinda figured they were getting hard to come by, because i haven't seen another one like it.

That gaping hole in the transfer case is what happens when loose ball bearings get wedged between the gears and the side of the case. Gears loose teeth, cast-iron case explodes, makes lots of noise, and throws gear oil everywhere. That happened on the way out of the driveway on its maden voyage after a 4-year tear down. Disappointing to say the least.
