If its a standard it's probably going to the backup light switch, but that's usually two wires if it's an auto it could be for your kickdown solenoid. Do the lights at the back of the truck work? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 125 6 heaven | | 6 heaven Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 125 | If this is a turbo hydramatic 400, that wire is used for the down shift control. A turbo 400 has the vacuum modulator on the passenger side pointing to the side, in the center of the trans body. A turbo 350 has the modulator on the passenger side on the rear of the case. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 | where is Weimar Tx and welcome to the bolt... Hope this helps. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 42 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 42 |
