Hello, Does anyone know where I can get a locking gas cap with a lip around the edge similar to the stock cap, that looks good.
The one I have now is from NAPA & only sits on the top of the filler tube & also seeps leaving run marks down tth side. I've tried every auto parts & pu parts in the area along with all the catalogs I have, have found some online but only for 47-55 trucks not 67-72 ???

Thanks Dale

I have a locking cap on mine but it is a small diameter one, not like an original. It does seal up well though. I think it came from the land of Ebay.

Are you concerned about people syphoning your gas, or dumping something funny into it?

I saw a few months ago a replacement filler neck that had a heavy duty wire screen in it to keep people from syphoning, or to prevent things like ping pong balls from getting dropped into the tank.

an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
