I picked up a puller from Autozone and it came off fine. I have the gear box centered with the wheels but now I can get the pitman arm back on. I only pulled the end at the gear box and loosened the end on the draglink. any help here? i just hope i dont have to pull this all off and have it pressed on at a machine shop. any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

It should slip right on. The manual steering pitman arm was smaller than the power steering. If thats the case you will have to get a power str. arm.

well... good news and bad news. firstly i was able to get the pitman arm back on with a little bit of common sence from wrenchbuilder. but then after i got it all back together i tested the steering. no luck. seems adjustment is needed in the tie rod ends . well back to the drawing board. | | |
