Would a corvette 1984 350 engine fit in my 1942 pickup truck, and is the backplate pretty standart with other 350 transmissions ?
Cheers

The swap can be done, but you'll have to do some work to clear the steering and other engine compartment parts. You'll also need all the computer control stuff from the 'Vette to drive that fuel-injected engine. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 32 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 32 | that engine will fit. with no problem. im putting an lt1 from a 94 chevy corvette in one truck and a brand new ls2 crate motor in the other truck. | | |
