I am mmaking carriage type doors for this garage and the hinges I am thinking of using need some modification. I want to weld some additional metal on to them to make them deeper. Hard to explain but I need to weld some extra on to them.
Here is my question I can get 304 Stainlees steel hinges with no holes at a good price but can I weld "regular" steel onto it with a mig welder?
