I am having trouble getting my turn signals to work on my '55 first series dump truck...
The Flare-Stat four-ways work, so I know the bulbs and wiring to the lights are good...
I've swapped the two flashers between the 4-ways and the turns, and both flashers are good...
Should I be planning to pull the steering-wheel and dig into the turn signal switch ?
This is my first AD with factory signals...

The switch is easy to remove, just mark the position of the steering wheel so you can put it back in the right spot on the splines. I'd check the wiring running to the column before digging into the wiring there. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,441 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,441 | Had a loose plug in the wiring of the switch on mine. Just pushed it in firmly and it now works fine.
