There was a brake/clutch pedal in the cab corner, and 1/2 of dirt all over the floor (it was a ranch truck for 40 or so years). No glove box included. The most interesting thing was the plastic panel from a flourescent light fixture screwed to the floor (must have held the dirt and rust down). In my old jeep (48 CJ2A) there was an extra set of wheels and tires, a dime and a couple of pennies, some fake blue grass in a roll, a dozen sets of chains all tangled up, a 6-volt battery and creative wiring for a 6-12 combination system, the old oil-bath aircleaner, lots of little screws (rusted and unusable), half a license plate (the other half covered a hole in the floor), and other junk. In my BMW I found the original key (the ignition uses a Wal-mart special), a Haynes manual, six springs, some of the interior panels that were removed, emblems, trim, rings and hubcaps that don't fit either set of wheels I have, original carburetor and intake, an extra radiator, and barely enough space to drive. I took about 20 minutes to clear out the drivers side of the seat. afterwards I pulled the old wooden camper off with a tractor, then stacked a pile of misc. feed sacks, milk jugs, and junk in a pile about 6 ft around and 4ft. high and burned it, along with the camper....when I drove it to the wife's uncle's place, he followed me down the highway, and when we got there he was laughing hysterically. apparently there was some rats with young ones that bounced out and went cartwheeling down the road.....ya can look at it now in the gallery-------64 3/4t----Al Falke | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 3 Junior Member | Junior Member Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 3 | In my '67 C-10 I found the original bill of sale and protect o plate in the glove compartment. I had an extra vacuum advance and a brand new fuel filter in the glove box, the original jack and crank (inoperable due to mass rusting) behind the passenger seat, 4 or five reciepts for generators, (should have looked here for trouble shooting on the issue I had not to long ago). About $3 in pennies in the ashtray, and air handler. 2 ft strip of angle iron in the bed. Behind the gas tank a bra.
Under the seat, vini sausage can with assorted bolts, nuts, and washers.
Above the sun visor there was a handful of pictures of children and a birthday card dated oct of 68.
The original seat was broken down on the drivers side and someone had stuffed it with an old bed blanket.
In the bed of the truck there was an assortment of parts from different cars like water pump, couple of starters, a coil and three radios.
I kept the pictures, card and the parts. Dont know why, I guess I am eccentric.

I don't have one but many vehicles over the years. Oil cans always in back corners of cab, if it had them still. Mouse eaten owner's mans, nests in glovebox, seat, headliner, clutch cover, exhaust pipes. One live mouse, got him with trap, and several times mouse skeletons, many times in nests still. Gun shells of all sizes, a few tools, mostly junk, a 59 Ford with a 59 Indiana road map still in it. Lots of keys to who knows what, fasteners, bed full of trash bags, some had used baby diapers in them, Yuk! Old concrete and pails of stones in Contractors truck, Lots of coins, some replaced small parts. Never had a snake, but some wasps and plenty of mud nests. One time a cab floor full of bigger animal duty, maybe a coon or such? AND, I have never caught that goofy named disease you can get from animal droppings I was warned about. Never even thought about it, really. One time got a truck from Cable TV shop, just full of parts in camper back, that I used to wire my house with cable! Even roll of wire! I've gotten big farm trucks with rolls of fence wire to try to cut up and junk, old farm posts, barn hardware, solidified grain dust! All kinds of things have been found, not much useful. I did get one set of old style reflector triangle sets that I still have. Nuff said!

I guess its from about 1970. I also found $0.15, the original lug wrench and about an inch of accumulated dirt and grain dust. In the glove box, I found the knock-out plate for the radio opening, a pencil advertising some defunct construction company, a set of Anco winshield wiper blades in the original box, and some old inspection papers from the last 10 years. In the floor the PO had made a set of floor mats out of old carpet and they had their own protective layer of dirt too.
