Gents,

I've just pulled the original 216 from my '52. I don't really know what shape it's in, but I'm short on money and especially time here. Planning on having the valves done, cleaning and painting it, and re-gasketing everything. Any advice/tips on what things I should do with it while it's out of the truck short of a total rebuild? Adjust the bearings? Blow out the water jacket? Any tips will be appreciated! Thanks

Tyler

How was it running before you pulled it?

I didn't have it running before I pulled it! Probably should have, I know.
