I was wondering if anyone has had it done? I have a torque tube and the 355 rear gear and don't want to go open drive train. Has anyone done this? Patrick's is a great company I have delt with him many times for upgrades. Is this upgrade very complicated? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 171 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 171 | it's not all that complicated. as a matter of fact it's much easier than doing the ring gear conversion on the rearend. patricks instructions are pretty good & he'll give you some coaching over the phone if you need it. this was my 1st experience building a transmission & i've done several others since ( it's not rocket science or magic!). that extra gear will do you alot better for around town driving & get you up to highway speed quicker. you'll like it!
