Has anyone got a good supplier for these horeshoe shaped spings in door hinges? Mine break easily and dont really work at holding doors open anyway. Has anyone made them out of brass or bronze stock?

I snapped an entire set trying them out on my hinges. I could fit them in but as soon as I rotated the hinge, they broke. I had my hinges rebuilt by Metal Man (Ray Stanley) and he installed used springs. They now work just fine.
