on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 25 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 25 | I'm looking at getting new tires for my 1970 C20 pickup, and need some opinions on the tires I found. I was at the local farm tire center and found some bias-ply tires that are the 7.5/16 size, and are made by Specialty Tires of America. I was going to get two highway tread tires for the front, and two of the old-school mudgrips for the rear, and another highway tread for the spare. I just wanted to know if anyone has bought these brand of tires and how have they held up as far as treadwear and overall life?
thanks

I've never heard of that size but I found it on their website: http://www.tbcprivatebrands.com/sigma/viewline_c.asp?id=107

My dealer looked into some made in Taiwan, then recommended against them. On the other hand, he stocks bias ply tires made in Mexico. I have them on my front axle, they have lasted longer than I expected.
