That one has a step side box and mine doesn't, so how hard would it be to exchange boxes? thanx
mikey | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | Long or short? As far as I know, the step side boxes were (almost?) identical between the two era's and all the way up to 87 I think. 60-87 stepsides the same?...from what I can recall. I think I also recall that those stepsides and fleetsides will interchange with no hassle. You put it on and bolt it down. Please correct me if i'm wrong (can't stress that enough). Good Luck. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 209 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 209 | Well i had a chevy 67-72 short stepside bed on my 64 chevy truck.Which is a short frame. Anyways i changed that bed to the 55-66 stepside bed. Now i have the 64 shortfleet bed on my truck now. What kind of bed do you have right now? What is wrong with it that you want to exchange beds? but anyways the 69 beds are diff that the 65 but like i said i had a 67-72 stepside bed on mine. SO you shouldnt have any problems but maybe drill more holes.
