Ok guys lets hear it.
I finished my total rebuild from frame up, O/H engine and what ever needed tobe done. Basically every piece on the truck was cleaned painted or replaced.
Engine runs smooth and quite, even the local experts can't belive how smooth the engine runs.
After highway driving and pulling up on the drive way I have instantly a puddle under the rear engine seal.
yesterday I pulled the seal and replaced it with a new one. it,s better than befor, but still the truckmarks his teritory. I opted for the orange silicon seal, should I used the old rope seal
(since they did not have silicone in 1953).
I followed each step on how to change rear main seal, in the tech tips forum.
Steering box needs to be tighter.
Have to chase some rattles under the dash
realigne hood and doors.
otherwise all is well.
