The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk Drove my 46 today

Finnally got to go work on my truck today. after about a month of inactivity. Last month I had to pull the transmission and transfer case to get to a leaking camshaft plug. The plug that was in there was to loose insalled new one with marine tex silicone. Well since the interior is finished and all fluid levels topped up I couldn't resist a cruise up and down the road. Truck drives real nice and what a feeling to be flying down the road with the wind blowing in your hair. ( no glass installed yet ). About a month away from finishing the daily driver. Ooohh sooo close

you have a 46 truck..I drove My 46 chev car today,,i have lots to do on that,,Crazy thing i drove it w/no brakes,,2nd 3rd gears grind when i try to shift so i only have 1st and Reverse..Good thing its geared so low...and YES..i know this is a truck website..But its still a 46 chev..lol :p :p
