These look pretty good, and a good story that I think you'll enjoy reading.

Ahhhhhhhhh. Who does the '55 belong to? You'll see tomorrow. Got that one almost done.

Stay tuned!

Kip's girls (with their updated picture - in case you missed it last month) are in the main gallery under ... the '54 -- Kip!

Fred,

And tell the TF guys, I'll be happy to put a good picture on the cover. Need a family shot, tho! As Norse says, any other "kid" references can go to Oly at his site.

We'll be rotating them around ... family pix. So, give me your best shot.

You are asking me that question! Fred, you know better than that. I know that it's red and white and has whitewalls and a cute little girl on the hood.

Remember, I'm the one who put a Crysler product in the gallery once

Well,,,,, since you asked, Fred, I think that is a good suggestion. From an organizational perspective, giving the "old salts" some special spiffs, like being featured on the home page from time to time would help build "retention" into the Stovebolt community. I also liked that many of the active members were featured on the T-shirt for the same reason.

That said, Peg also has a good point with using the family photos - that is what brought me into the hobby - and what is going to help preserve these old trucks long after we're all gone.

Finally, Jim - your trucks are great. Like any conversation, things sometimes just take off on a related tangent here too!

There's my two cents.

Well, I wanted to try rotating images but figured for our dial-up Bolters, it would really slow down the page loading. So, I'll do "rotation" the old fashion way.

Kip and other long-time Bolters are featured throughout the site. When Kip and I talked on the phone over the weekend, he reminded me of his permanent place (same photo) on the site. Barry Weeks is there, too.

Fred, know where they are?

Thanks, Kimberly & skiffman.

The Coke truck is a keeper. The '72 C/40 will be future driveline for the Coke truck. I don't know about the 3100 ??? I should sell it, but it is kick to drive now that it has all new brake system.

Skiffman, I like your '56! I had a 57 3800 some 30+ years ago...never let me down....

JD49,,,very nice trucks,,,, Jim, you have not caused any problem, if anyone caused it, I did, I was just use to looking at kips for almost 3 yrs and it just caught me off guard,,, senior, junior , should not matter anyway,, this site is for all and in no certain order, and it should be that way.. the site has provided me with way to much for me to complain about anything, I have met in person at least 17 of the bolters here and look forward to meeting more,, I am just another old man trying to have some fun and gain some knowledge,,,,I love kids too, have some nice looking grand-daughters my self on my site,,regards....Fred

Just drive em...............................

Fred,

Nicely put. You know, there can't be much order to this place because I'm the one trying to keep it straight. So ... that's a bad sign right there frown

Look how long it took me to actually number the gallery submissions. And I forget what number we started at. 600 or something?

Any whichaways. Do you know where Kip's kids are on the site? Been there and probably will always stay there!

Hmmm? Hmmm?
