| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 71 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 71 | Can someone post a photo or diagram of the proper setup for the throttle linkage, 49 AD, 216, Carter YF. When I restored my truck the only change I made was the addition of an eyebolt through the hole at the bottom of the block where the spring attaches. Everything seems to work properly but the throttle occasionally hangs and you have to tap the pedal to free it up. The problem could just be a weak spring but I want to make sure everything else is right. BTW, I do not have my throttle cable connected so no binding there. Thanks. | | |
