The only problem is the wood frame for the cab and door is BAD is there any place when you can buy a wood kit for these old trucks or somewhere that dimesions for the cab can be found. I have a 34 Chevy coupe that needed most of the wood replaced. The doorposts and doors are a little tricky but it's not impossible to make it yourself. I took what was left of the original wood and used it for templates to create the door posts and door wood . Do you plan to restore it or make it a street rod/driver? I have a friend that has done dozens of Chevy wood replacements, has even built from scratch a woody station wagon. It thkes about $175.oo worth of wood and a few hours to do. I have a 1932 Chevy pickup and the wood for it was easy. I think the truck has the same cab. He is in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. | | |
