Does anyone know the years that the artillery wheels were manufactured? Are all of the years the same? I'm looking at getting some off of a 36, but I don't know if they are original. I'd like to put them on a 40.
Thanks, B

The most popular artilleries were 39 to 46 +/- and were the 15". I've found these on lots of trucks that had the same 6 lug pattern.
I found some 16" artilleries on late 30s Olds sedans, but I don't think any trucks came with 16s. As long as they are 6 lug, you should be fine. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 481 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 481 | The 36 GMC 1/2 ton came stock from the factory with 16 X 4 1/2 inch Kelsey Hays artillery wheels. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 10 | I have one 16" if you want it. It has slots all the way around instead of the four cutouts. I'll send a picture if you like. Reply to [email protected] if you have questions. Quinn | | |
