Took Dusty to a car show at the AC Delco National Drags at Dinwiddie Motorsports Park, Virginia on Saturday. Five members/vehicles from our club (including mine) was asked to attend, to set up an antique vehicle display for the race fans. In addition, 3 or 4 other clubs were asked to display vehicles, so ended up with over 95 on display. Did not have any idea this was going to be a judged show, but VERY happy with the results! smile We all registered, and was given slip of paper to vote on 5 vehicles, not including our own (each vehicle was numbered). They awarded TOP 25, BEST IN SHOW, and AC DELCO TOP PICK, and I was one selected for one of the TOP 25 awards!!!!! grin Another one of our members vehicles (57 Chev. Hardtop) won a similar award! What a great day, and to top it off, the trophy's were presented by Hooters girls!!!!!!! grin grin AWWW, the icing on the cake! grin A great feeling to have come home with my first trophy on Dusty--one I will cherish. wink

Congratulations Brian. From the looks of your truck, it was well deserved.

Kind of makes all of those cold days out in the garage worth it after all, doesn't it.

In my opinion, the best part is that you were able to drive it there and back (NO trailer queens) and still walk away with an award.

Congratulations. That has to feel good. Especially being judged by other owners. People that appreciate what goes into them.

Congratulations Brian. I remember well the feeling of the first award. Makes it all worthwhile doesn't it. Frosting on the cake for doing something you enjoy sharing with others.
