Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 71 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2001 Posts: 71 | I'm looking for the original factory list price for a 1950 half-ton pickup, as well as the prices for the regular production options. Anyone have a source for this info? I have the "dealer's confidential price list," but of course it only shows the dealer-installed options. Was the destination charge averaged out across the country like it is today, or was the charge different based on distance from the factory? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | pknauth,
I have a copy of the original 1950 Chevrolet Truck Data Book (for Chevrolet Salesmen). It has price information in the back. The 3104 List price was $1,185.00 and $53.00 for Factory D.&H. (Delivery and Handling?). The book also shows blank boxes for Freight, and Local Chgs.
All options are also listed (list Price & Factory D&H).
