Well, with five days grace period ... the old classified section is gone. All the links in the menu bar will bring you to the forums.

Even got the old software off the server.

So, if you are looking for something that WAS there ... it ain't no mo.

yeeee-ha.

Does it seem to work better? I like the idea of having some discussion - that everyone gets to see. Even tho there are some private emails, too. Which makes sense.

Hopefully, if we see a crook (hmmmm ... could that ever happen?), we'll all send whistles and bells and hammers and whatever it takes to alert folks.

It takes a little longer to go thru "Today's Active Topics" but it also brings to attention stuff I would never normally see.

It's funny to see these posts go off topic, too.

I'm sure Joy is busy with this bunch!

And there was a comment somewhere about people putting information in the subject line. Yea, yea. We'll get to fixing that page but in the meantime, any Bolter can ask the person who put the post (sending them an email and posting it would be best) suggesting they do that.

Many hands make light housework.

Thanks.

My only suggestion would be to put a sticky on each category that says something like

DO NOT JUNK UP THREADS IN THE CLASSIFIEDS, IF YOUR NOT INTERESTED DO NOT POST!

IF YOUR AD HAS NO PRICE IT WILL BE DELETED!

NO ADVERTISING W/O PERMISSION FROM ME!(BUSINESSES)

My $.02
